The short version

The desktop application

LTC Check analyses WAV files entirely on your Mac. It does not upload the files you check, and it does not transmit their contents anywhere. The application does not require an account and does not track usage.

Buying LTC Check

When you buy LTC Check, payment is processed by Stripe. We do not see or store your card details - Stripe handles that directly. Stripe's own privacy policy covers how they process payment information.

To deliver your purchase, we store:

• Your email address, so we can send your download link and let you retrieve it later
• A reference to your Stripe checkout session and payment, so we can confirm your purchase and process refunds if needed
• A hashed download token and basic usage of it (how many times it's been used, and when it expires) - not the token itself, which only exists in the download link we send you

We do not sell or share this information with third parties beyond Stripe (to process payment) and, if used, a standard email-sending service (to deliver your download link).

Cookies and analytics

This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. It does not currently run any analytics. If analytics is added in future, it will be privacy-friendly and used only in aggregate to understand traffic to this site - never to identify individual visitors or to track the content of files analysed by the desktop app, which never reaches us in the first place.

How long we keep data

Download tokens expire automatically after 72 hours. We retain purchase records (email address and Stripe references) for as long as reasonably necessary for accounting, support and refund purposes.

Your rights

You can ask us what information we hold about your purchase, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, subject to what we're required to keep for accounting purposes. Contact support@ltccheck.com.
